About The Role

Genuin sits at a genuinely interesting intersection for monetization: a high-engagement video and community platform with rich contextual signals, a privacy-first architecture, and audiences that brands actually want to reach. The monetization layer — direct-sold partnerships, programmatic channels, and everything in between — is a core part of how we grow and how we make that value tangible for advertisers.


We’re looking for a Product Manager who has spent real time inside the ad ecosystem. Someone who has felt the friction between publisher needs and advertiser expectations, who understands yield, knows how the programmatic stack works end to end, and has opinions about where the industry is heading. You’ll own the roadmap for Genuin’s monetization products, working closely with our business, engineering, and data teams to build something that performs for both sides of the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Own the end-to-end product roadmap for Genuin’s ad monetization products — from ad formats and inventory management through to yield optimization and reporting.
  2. Define and drive the strategy for both direct-sold and programmatic channels, balancing near-term revenue with long-term ecosystem health.
  3. Define the data and reporting layer: what signals matter to advertisers, what the business needs to see, and how we give both sides confidence in performance.
  4. Stay close to how the industry is evolving — privacy regulations, signal loss, retail media growth, contextual targeting — and bring that thinking into the roadmap proactively.
  5. Track revenue, fill rates, CPMs, and advertiser retention as primary success signals and use them to prioritize relentlessly.

Required Qualifications

  1. 4–7 years of product management experience, with the majority of it spent directly in adtech, media, retail media, or consumer platforms with significant ad revenue.
  2. Deep working knowledge of how programmatic advertising works — auction mechanics, bid landscapes, header bidding, floor price strategy, and the SSP/DSP relationship.
  3. Genuine familiarity with direct-sold workflows: trafficking, campaign management, brand safety, measurement and relevant partnerships
  4. You’ve built or significantly improved something in the monetization stack and can talk through the trade-offs you navigated — technical constraints, revenue goals, user experience, advertiser expectations.
  5. Commercially minded: you track revenue impact, understand yield management, and can hold your own in a room with media buyers and ad ops teams.
  6. Strong enough technical understanding to work well with engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience at a supply-side platform, ad server, retail media network, or a publisher/platform with significant direct ad revenue.
  2. Exposure to contextual or privacy-first targeting approaches.
  3. Familiarity with video ad formats and the specific dynamics of in-stream, outstream, and in-feed monetization.
  4. Experience working with identity partners (Livermap, ID5 etc.) and understanding how advertisers use identity providers.
  5. Startup experience — you’re used to building from incomplete information and making decisions without waiting for full certainty.

  3. Speed and quality of new ad product and format launches.
