Backend Developer (Mid Level)

About The Role:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with 5 years of professional experience to join

our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing scalable architectures, building

high-performance APIs, and developing robust backend services that power reliable and

efficient applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code, system design, and

solving complex performance challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and services
2. Build secure, well-documented, and high-performance RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
3. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability
4. Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams
5. Implement data storage solutions and ensure data consistency and integrity
6. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices
7. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve system efficiency
8. Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of backend development experience
2. Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or similar)
3. Experience designing distributed and scalable systems
4. Solid understanding of API design principles and microservices architecture
5. Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases
6. Experience with caching, message queues, and asynchronous processing
7. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
8. Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
2. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
3. Experience with performance monitoring and logging tools
4. Understanding of event-driven architecture
5. Exposure to system design and architecture patterns
