Genuin is building the next layer of the internet: a video-powered infrastructure that embeds directly inside the apps and websites consumers already love. Publishers, retailers, consumer service providers, creators, and advertisers use Genuin to drive engagement, discovery, conversion, and new revenue through contextual, shoppable, community-driven video experiences.
Our monetization ecosystem includes:
- Sponsorship & branded content activations
- Subscription-based community models
- Programmatic monetization via major DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360, Yahoo DSP, Amazon Ads, Xandr, etc.)
- Creator-driven community commerce
- Cross-destination media network expansion
We are hiring a founding member to design, scale, and lead Integrated Media Monetization at Genuin.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Founding Manager, Integrated Media & Monetization is the architect, operator, and builder of Genuin’s entire monetization engine. As the first hire in this function, you will define how revenue is created across Genuin’s network, from sponsorships to subscriptions to programmatic demand.
You will unify media operations, partner activation, pricing/yield strategy, subscription management, measurement, and optimization into a cohesive, scalable revenue operation.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact, cross-functional role that shapes Genuin’s commercial growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Build & Lead Genuin’s Monetization Function (Founding Role)
- Create the monetization operations infrastructure from the ground up.
- Define revenue models, workflows, execution standards, and reporting frameworks.
- Build and lead a future team across sponsorship ops, ad ops, subscription operations, and campaign management.
- Own revenue delivery across all monetization surfaces and partner ecosystems.
2. Sponsorship & Branded Content Monetization (TED, iHeart & Brand Partners)
- Activate sponsorship packages and branded content programs inside Genuin Feeds, video modules, shows, and creator capsules.
- Coordinate creative approvals, placement configuration, tagging, pacing, QA, and delivery.
- Partner with TED, iHeart, and other media/brand teams to enable:
- Sponsored video series
- Community challenges
- Cross-destination sponsored campaigns
- Deliver full-funnel reporting on viewership, engagement, community actions, and conversion.
3. Subscription & Premium Community Monetization
- Launch subscription communities for brands, creators, and media partners.
- Manage paywalls, access tiers, premium content flows, membership benefits, and retention strategies.
- Own subscription lifecycle operations including:
- Premium content calendars
- Member conversions
- Churn mitigation
- Revenue allocation (in partnership with Product & Finance)
- Optimize subscription journeys and gated content experiences across devices.
4. Programmatic Revenue Operations (Across All Major DSPs)
- Activate programmatic demand across The Trade Desk, DV360, Yahoo DSP, Amazon Ads, Xandr, and others.
- Package onsite video engagement signals into contextual, audience, and community-based monetization products.
- Manage PMP/PG activation, pacing, brand safety, inventory readiness, and yield optimization.
- Oversee ad quality, event taxonomy, viewability standards, and placement governance.
5. Unified Measurement, Attribution & Reporting
- Own measurement architecture across all monetization levers:
- Sponsorships
- Subscriptions
- Programmatic
- Community engagement
- Ensure accurate tracking from Genuin SDK signals → monetization surfaces → reporting dashboards.
- Deliver actionable reports to partners (TED, iHeart), agencies, creators, and internal leadership teams.
- Partner with Product/Data to refine event taxonomy, identity mapping, engagement scoring, and conversion measurement.
6. Optimization & Network Revenue Strategy
- Improve yield, CPMs, subscription ARPU, sponsorship value, and cross-destination monetization.
- Drive monetization-centric improvements in feed ranking rules, placement density, content strategy, and premium programming.
- Identify new monetization surfaces and formats across Genuin’s network.
- Provide insights that influence product roadmap, partner integrations, and network expansion.
WHY YOU?
Experience
- 5–10 years in digital media, ad operations, monetization strategy, programmatic, or content/platform revenue operations.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Sponsorship fulfillment
- Subscription/community monetization
- Programmatic activation (TTD, DV360, Yahoo, Amazon, Xandr, etc.)
- Strong analytical, operational, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Deep understanding of interactive video, community engagement, or content ecosystems.
Preferred
- Startup or “first monetization hire” experience.
- Familiarity with SDK-driven onsite media and first-party data monetization.
- Experience with media partners like TED, iHeart, publishers, creators, or retail media networks.
